Job Description * Provide education and support to the agricultural/horticultural community * Present industry information and research advances * Uses farm, business, and residential visits to remain knowledgeable of local needs/concerns in order to address issues, threats, and opportunities *Utilizes university resources and tools to assist farmers and citizens in reaching agriculuture/horticuluture based goals * Works with local agencies and organizations to develop educational programs, new producers, and safeguards to protect the agricultural/horticultural industries. * Oversees the local pesticde industry trains and educates applicators in regards to laws/regulations and safe application
