Neither food or food packaging are considered significant ways of spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. However, it’s always important to follow good safety practices when handling and preparing food. Be sure to: maintain personal hygiene, limit time food is between 41-135°F, cook food to proper temperatures, and clean and sanitize surfaces.
