Mitchell County 4-H is excited to offer several online options to keep up with 4-H happenings on the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Mitchell County Center’s webpage! New pages have been created with information on everything from upcoming events to volunteer opportunities.

To visit the new informational pages, locate the Mitchell County 4-H Information tab at the left of your screen.

Once you locate this tab, click on Mitchell County 4-H Information and view the “Quick Links” from this page. You can select each web page individually from the menu on the left under Mitchell County 4-H Information also.

Here are our new web pages and a brief description of each page:

Upcoming 4-H Programs  provides a list of virtual 4-H youth activities and opportunities for youth to engage in experiential learning from home.

MItchell County 4-H Clubs provides a brief description of each active Mitchell County 4-H club. You can find ways to get involved by contacting Eve Kindley at eve_kindley@ncsu.edu.

4-H Online Enrollment provides information on enrolling in Mitchell County 4-H. All youth and volunteers who wish to participate in Mitchell County 4-H must be enrolled each year on January 1st. Enrollment is free and is done online!

Volunteer with 4-H provides information on becoming a volunteer with the Mitchell County 4-H program. Whether you’re interested in starting a club and becoming a club leader or just have a few hours to invest in upcoming 4-H activities, there are challenging, fun jobs for adults and teens who want to make a difference.

You can visit the State 4-H Programs tab for a list of 4-H opportunities offered across the state for our youth. These range from 4-H Camps to 4-H Horse Judging!
