The 12-week training program begins in January 2022.
To apply to the Extension Master Gardener℠ program of Mitchell County, applicants must:
- Attend one informational session (10/5 - 9 a.m., 10/9 - 10 a.m. at Historic Courthouse, or 10/14 - 6 p.m. at the Mitchell Senior Center).
- Submit an application.
- If you are selected, pay a $125 registration fee. Fee covers training materials. (If cost is prohibitive contact Shane Biddix, Assistant Extension Agent, Agriculture at 828-688-4811.)
Novice gardeners are as welcome to apply as are lifelong gardeners!
