Avery A&H Fair Board along with N.C. Cooperative Extension, Mitchell County Center invite you to attend the educational and family-friendly Avery A&H Fair in Newland, NC September 6th – 9th , 2023. Producers from Mitchell Counties are invited to submit their culinary, artistic, preserved, agricultural, and horticultural items for display. This is an opportunity to educate youth and community members on the various products that are produced in our area.

In addition, youth and producers from Avery and Mitchell counties are invited to compete in livestock shows and display their livestock.

Avery A&H Fair Entry Dates & Times
Livestock and poultry entries are being accepted Monday, September 4 th , from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Livestock entries must be scheduled and approved prior to September 1st, 2023.
Cut flower entries are being accepted September 5 th , 2023; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Culinary entries are being accepted September 6 th , 2023; MORNING ONLY (9 a.m.)

All other entries will be accepted, Saturday, September 2nd thru Tuesday, September 5 th , 2023;
8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
