Thanks to a group of 4-H youth, some folks in the community are having fresh produce this summer! The 4-H Youth Stepping FOURward members identified food insecurity as a community issued they wished to address. They are doing so by growing a small garden and donating the produce to the Bakersville Baptist Church food pantry. The eggplant is now producing and will soon be available for others to enjoy!  During July, 59 pounds of produce have been delivered for others to enjoy! What a great way to contribute to the community!
