DIRECTIONS

The Pinehurst Traffic Circle will be the center of our compass for the weekend! If lost, return to the circle and start over! The Pinehurst Traffic Circle is the intersection of US Route 15-501, NC Route 211, and NC 2.

To reach the Healing Garden and the Clara McLean House at First Health: Take NC 211 West to the first traffic light (Page Road). Take a right. Go to the first traffic light (Memorial Drive). Go left. Go approximately 0.4 mile. Take a right (First Village Drive). Bear right to the top of the hill.

To reach the Comfort Inn: Take US Route 15-501 South. The hotel is approximately 1 mile on your left.

To reach Sandhills Community College and the Sandhills Horticultural Gardens: You will be following the signs to Sandhills Community College and the airport from the circle. Take NC Route 2 East (Southern Pines sign) then quick left 0.10 mile (Airport Road). Go approximately 3.0 miles to the College on your right. Go past the College to the Gardens next door. You will see a sign for the Ball Visitors’ Center. Park in the Center lot or across the street in the student parking lot.

To reach Rhett’s: Take NC Route 2 East (Southern Pines sign) approximately 5 miles to downtown Southern Pines. NC Route 2 turns into Broad Street and is one way. Proceed about 3 blocks to Pennsylvania Avenue. Turn right. Park along this block or the next on either side of the street. When you turn, the restaurant is mid-block on the left in a courtyard.
